Effective Date: May 13, 2026By accessing, registering, subscribing, making payment, creating a profile, communicating with members, or using any service of Better for Love through mobile application, website, WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, email, telephone, or any digital platform, you voluntarily, knowingly, and legally agree to these Terms & Conditions.Failure to comply with these Terms may result in immediate suspension, permanent termination, forfeiture of all fees without refund, legal action, cybercrime complaint, and reporting to lawful authorities.
## 1. LEGAL COMPLIANCEBetter for Love operates in accordance with the laws of India including but not limited to:* Information Technology Act, 2000* Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 including Rule 3* Indian Contract Act, 1872* Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023* Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023* Consumer Protection Act, 2019* Applicable cybercrime, privacy, electronic communication, civil, criminal, and matrimonial laws of India
## 2. ELIGIBILITY* Users must be 18 years of age or above.* Users must be legally eligible for marriage under applicable law.* Users must provide true, accurate, complete, and lawful information.Fake identity, impersonation, forged documents, hidden marital status, false employment details, misleading information, or duplicate profiles are strictly prohibited.
## 3. RULE 3 COMPLIANCE & PROHIBITED CONTENTIn compliance with Rule 3 under applicable intermediary laws, users shall not upload, publish, transmit, share, or communicate any content that:* Is false, fake, misleading, or fraudulent* Impersonates another person* Is abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, unlawful, or offensive* Violates privacy, reputation, intellectual property, or legal rights* Promotes cheating, fraud, blackmail, harassment, hate speech, stalking, extortion, or criminal activity* Contains malware, viruses, spyware, harmful links, or unauthorized digital content* Attempts to collect, store, leak, sell, exploit, or misuse user information
## 4. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR MISUSEAny misuse of Better for Love including but not limited to:* Fake matrimonial intentions* Fraudulent marriage proposals* Financial fraud or cheating* Emotional exploitation* Harassment or stalking* Hidden marriage or relationship status* Screenshot misuse* Recording calls or chats without consent* Sharing profiles outside matrimonial purpose* Religious, political, recruitment, or commercial solicitation* Human trafficking, scam, unlawful recruitment, or criminal activityshall result in:* Immediate suspension or permanent ban* Membership cancellation without refund* Preservation of digital evidence* Reporting to Cyber Crime Cell, Police Authorities, Courts, Telecom Authorities, Government Agencies, or other lawful authorities* Civil and criminal legal proceedings wherever applicable
## 5. MARRIAGE / NIKAH DISCLAIMERBetter for Love is strictly a matrimonial introduction platform only.Better for Love does not arrange, perform, solemnize, verify, approve, certify, guarantee, or take responsibility for:* Marriage* Nikah* Engagement* Family agreements* Personal relationships* Financial arrangements* Dowry-related discussions* Off-platform meetings or commitmentsAll meetings, background verification, family discussions, document verification, compatibility checks, Nikah arrangements, marriage decisions, financial commitments, and personal interactions are solely at the users’ own risk, responsibility, and independent judgment.
## 6. NO LIABILITYBetter for Love, its owners, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, partners, and representatives shall have absolutely **no civil or criminal liability** for:* Fake profiles* Misrepresentation by users* Fraudulent conduct* Financial loss* Emotional distress* Relationship disputes* Marriage failure* Divorce or separation* Family disputes* Criminal acts by users* Privacy breaches caused by users* Off-platform communication, meetings, or transactionsUsers proceed entirely at their own discretion and risk.
## 7. INDEMNITYUsers agree to fully defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Better for Love, its owners, management, employees, affiliates, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, disputes, liabilities, penalties, losses, legal proceedings, or expenses arising from:* User misconduct* False information* Violation of laws* Profile misuse* Data misuse* Matrimonial disputes* Personal relationships* Off-platform communication or financial transactions
## 8. PAYMENT & NON-REFUNDABLE POLICYAll registration fees, membership fees, subscription charges, service fees, verification charges, promotional charges, renewal fees, and all other payments made to Better for Love are strictly, permanently, and absolutely **NON-REFUNDABLE** under any circumstances.No refund shall be provided for:* Unsuccessful matches* Change of mind* Personal dissatisfaction* Inactivity* Account suspension* Profile rejection* Technical interruptions* Marriage not finalized* Nikah not completed* User misconduct* Voluntary account closure
## 9. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTIONUsers consent to collection, processing, storage, verification, and lawful usage of profile information for matrimonial purposes in accordance with applicable Indian laws.Profile information may be visible to registered members for matchmaking purposes.
## 10. RCS / SMS / WHATSAPP / CALL CONSENTBy registering and providing mobile number, email address, WhatsApp number, or communication details, users expressly provide consent to receive:* RCS messages* SMS messages* WhatsApp messages* Phone calls* Email communication* Verification alerts* Match notifications* Promotional messages* Membership and service updates
## 11. ACCOUNT MONITORING & DIGITAL EVIDENCEBetter for Love reserves the absolute right to monitor, review, investigate, preserve, store, and disclose:* Profile information* Communication records* IP logs* Device information* Payment records* Usage history* Complaint records* Digital evidencewhenever misuse, fraud, suspicious activity, legal violation, or lawful authority request arises.
## 12. COOPERATION WITH AUTHORITIESBetter for Love may share information with:* Cyber Crime Cell* Police Authorities* Courts* Government Agencies* Telecom Authorities* Regulatory Authorities* Other lawful investigating agencieswhenever legally required.
## 13. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATIONBetter for Love reserves the unconditional and absolute right to suspend, restrict, investigate, block, or permanently terminate any account without prior notice if misuse, fraud, suspicious activity, or policy violation is detected or reasonably suspected.All fees shall remain non-refundable.
## 14. JURISDICTIONAny dispute arising from Better for Love services shall be subject exclusively to the competent courts in India.
